About Wrap Pricing

Wrap Pricing gives independent, realistic price estimates for vehicle wraps and paint protection film. Here's what we do, what we don't, and how we're funded.

Last updated · How we price

Wrap Pricing is a free estimator for vehicle wraps, paint protection film, commercial graphics, fleet branding, and film removal. You enter a ZIP code, a vehicle, and the work you want, and you get a realistic price estimate with a plain explanation of what drives it.

Why we built this

Wrap prices are hard to research. Most shops don't publish prices, online figures are often out of date or unsourced, and the answer usually depends on details a quick search can't account for: your vehicle, the coverage, the film, your paint, and your local market.

Our goal is simple: help you walk into a shop knowing roughly what a fair price looks like and which questions to ask, without having to hand over your contact details first.

What Wrap Pricing is

  • An estimator built on a documented, versioned pricing model. You can read exactly how it works.
  • A set of plain-language guides explaining what each type of wrap costs and why.
  • Free to use, with no account required. You don't have to give us your name or email to get an estimate.

What Wrap Pricing isn't

  • Not a shop directory or review site. We don't list, rank, or rate installers.
  • Not a quote. Our ranges are for planning. Only a shop that has seen your vehicle can give you a final price.
  • Not affiliated with vehicle makers, film manufacturers, or wrap shops. Brand and model names are used only to identify vehicles.
  • Not a live shop network, yet. We plan to let customers who ask for it share a quote request with a few independent shops that match their project. That network isn't live. Until it is, we won't tell you a shop is available when one isn't.

How we're funded

We want to be clear about how Wrap Pricing will pay for itself:

  • Advertising. When enabled, some pages show ads. Ads are labeled and kept visually separate from price ranges and guide content.
  • Shop fees, in the future. Once the shop network launches, participating shops may pay a fee for quote requests that customers explicitly ask us to share with them. We will only share a request when you ask us to. See our privacy policy and your sharing choices.
  • Sponsored placements. If we ever show one, it will always be labeled as sponsored.

None of these can influence an estimate. No shop, film maker, or advertiser can pay to change an estimate, a factor, or a confidence label.

Our data standards

  • Every factor in our model has a documented low and high value. We don't add an arbitrary margin at the end.
  • Every estimate records the pricing model version that produced it, so results can be reproduced.
  • We say when we're less sure, for example when your ZIP code falls back to a state or regional default, and we widen the ±% to match.
  • We don't publish sample figures as market prices, and we say where our numbers come from.
  • We don't invent statistics, reviews, or endorsements.

The full details are in our editorial and data policy.
